The Problem
Isla Medic, a Paraguayan medical equipment company, had no online presence. Customers could only buy or rent equipment by visiting their physical store or calling during business hours. They were losing sales to competitors with e-commerce and had no way to handle after-hours inquiries.
What We Built
Part 1 — Alpha BOT (WhatsApp AI Assistant): We built an AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot that answers product questions, qualifies leads, books appointments, and captures customer data 24/7. The admin dashboard lets staff upload PDFs and XLSX catalogs as a knowledge base, monitor conversations, view analytics, and manage human handoff. Integrated with WATI API.
Part 2 — E-Commerce (islamedic.com): A full WooCommerce store with 500+ medical products, Bancard payment gateway, installment plans, equipment rental system, multi-branch support, and WhatsApp integration on every product page. Fully self-manageable — staff add products, update prices, and process orders without a developer.
